West Loop Park Survey Results

The results are in and the West Loop Community Organization reports the following percentages of things residents felt were "very" or "somewhat important" for the park at the corner of Peoria and Adams to include:

• Sitting area - 97%
• Flowers - 88%
• Walking paths 77%
• Water feature 72%
• Dog area 64%
• Play area for kids 56%
• Trees - 56%
• Music stage 27%
• Exercise equipment 17%
• Skateboard area 1%

The design process is moving forward slowly with the park reportedly scheduled to be complete for the Spring of 2008.
